New Project

Every language learner knows the exact moment. You're mid-sentence, the grammar is fine, the idea is right there. And then one word won't come out. Alone, you'd have to stop and look the word up; Madi lets you keep writing.
Target & Bridge
Madi is built around a single mechanic: you choose a Target Language to write in and a Bridge Language to fall back on. For example, when a word won't come in Spanish, you just write it in English and keep going.
Hoy un extraño me hizo un
complimenty me hizo sonreír.

When you finish, Madi uses on-device natural language processing and Foundation Models framework to find the Bridge words in your essay.
A learning tool, not a shortcut

Madi helps you learn as a learning tool, rather than a shortcut. Instead of showing the translations for the Bridge words right away, it asks you to express each Bridge word with your existing vocabulary. This came from my principles when building educational apps. Learn more.
A dictionary built from what you actually needed
Every Bridge word you reach for becomes an entry in your personal glossary. Every word added to your glossary is directly relevant to you; they are the word gaps you specifically encountered while writing. The glossary syncs with your devices via iCloud, so you can keep track of your words seamlessly.
Nudge: a subtle helper for a missing sentence

Not knowing a word and not knowing what to say next are different problems. Madi's writing assistant, Nudge, offers a few possible sentence starters in your Target Language whenever you pause after finishing a sentence. Nudge is fully customisable; change how long it waits before appearing, or turn it off entirely.
Availability and beta testing
Madi is still in development. It needs refinement, broader language support, and more polish before it's ready for the App Store release. Madi will be available soon for beta testing as an early preview via TestFlight. Join the waitlist.
