What Communication means to me.
I left my home country at the age of 16. Before that, I couldn't realise the importance of communication. The privilege of talking in my native language with my friends, and the privilege of talking with my parents in person whenever I want. Missing that privilege gave Communication as one of my values I build on.
Duet
Duet — the first step.
Duet started from a simple observation: language learning apps are mostly solo. You study alone, practice alone, and progress alone. But language only has a point when there's someone on the other side; I believe language learning should be social.
Duet was built to bridge that gap. It pairs two people with different native languages and lets them exchange language. Each person teaches the other, with AI stepping in quietly when they need it. Duet is a bridge, not a teacher.
Communication became one of my values because I lived the distance. When I find another gap worth bridging, I will build a tool for it.
